King Karl is a character from the Mandrake the Magician comic strip that first appeared in "Mandrake in Cockaigne" .
Fictional Character Biography
King Karl of Cockaigne was[1] married to Queen Isabel and they had two children together, Segrid and Narda. Queen Isabel died while Segrid were young and Narda was an infant. Some years later the king met Elsa whom he married. Since Elsa was a commoner the king had to renounce the throne in order for them to marry.
