Andros is a character from the Mandrake the Magician comic strip that first appeared in "The Double".
Fictional Character Biography
Andros are the first elected president in a small European country. He bacame ill and needed medical treatment. But the young democracy was unstable and people loyal to the old dictator tried to use the situation to make a coup. Mandrake stepped in as president Andros double and kept the situation stabile until Andros returned.
President Andros build Xanadu and gave the house to Mandrake in gratitude for his help during the unstable period in the country.
