The Daily Argus was a newspaper published in Mount Vernon, New York, from April 1, 1892 to June 12, 1994.
"Mandrake the Magician" daily strips were published from June 2, 1941 to (at least) December, 1952. // nb : all along these years, the strip appears every day with the incorrect first name of LEW instead of LEE FALK...!
