Mandrake the Magician Electric Tiki Statue

The Mandrake statue

The Mandrake statue - officially licensed by King Features Syndicate - was presented at the 2007 San Diego Comic Con. It is manufactured in a 1:6 scale with a size of 40 cm tall. The piece is hand-cast in high quality polystone and carefully hand-painted. Two versions have been released: one representing Mandrake in his usual black Tuxedo suit and the other in a blue Tuxedo suit. Each statue is individually hand numbered and the packing box (in a durable foam interior) includes a certificate of authenticity. The whole edition is limited of only 175 pieces. The following Fred Fredericks' presenting phrase is mentioned on the box: " I worked for Lee Falk, the creator of "Mandrake the Magician", for 34 years. I know he would be very pleased with this statue ".

About creator Rubén Procopio

The designer and sculptor of the statue is Rubén Procopio (born November 21, 1961, Buenos Aires, Argentina), an American animation and comic book artist who is credited with restoring the maquette process to feature animation film production in the early 1980s. He is the founder of "Masked Avenger Studios", whose clients include "Walt Disney Studios", "Warner Bros. Studios", "New Line Cinema", "Cartoon Network", "Electric Tiki" "and "DC Comics".
