Diario de la Marina
Diario de la Marina was a newspaper published in Havana, Cuba, and founded in in 1844 by merging of anterior newspapers. It was Cuba’s longest-running newspaper and the one with the highest circulation. It was closed on May 12, 1960, by orders of the Cuban Revolution government led by Fidel Castro.
"Mandrake the Magician" Sunday pages were published every Thursday in color in the comics section of the current edition in 1935 and 1936 under the name of "Mandrake el mago".
It seems to be the earliest Mandrake publication in America, outside of the United States of America, that just 10 days after the original U.S. release.
"Mandrake the Magician" daily strips were also published in the "Diario de la Marina" newspaper in 1936.
