Antonio Sciotti was an Italian comics artist.
Biography
Antonio Sciotti (Rome, September 25, 1924 – September 7, 1974) was an Italian artist affiliated with the Alberto Giolitti studios. From 1947 to 1950, he drew for "Edizioni Fantera" on such comics as "Boy Lampo" and "Dottor Holl" before to work for the comics magazine "Il Vittorioso" in series as "I Pirati e Kit Ringo". He also worked for "Corriere dei Piccoli" and for "Il Giornalino" during many years, up until his death in 1974. Sciotti’s most important character was "Dev Bardai".
He drew several covers of the series Albo Furore in the fifties, as well as some Fratelli Spada covers in the sixties, both featuring Mandrake the Magician and The Phantom.
