Alberto Giolitti founded the "Giolitti Studios" in the 1960s. The "Giolitti Studios" was an agency for the international market with several comic book artists. The studio made several stories for the "l’Uomo Mascherato", "Mandrake" and "Flash Gordon" series by Fratelli Spada.

Some of the artists in the studio were: Angelo Todaro, Massimo Belardinelli, Giorgio Cambiotti, Romano Felmang and Umberto Sammarini.

Alberto Giolitti started out his artist career for the Italian comics magazine "Il Vittorioso" in the late 1940's before moving to South America where he worked for Editorial Manuel Láinez and Editorial Columba in Argentina. He then left for the United States, and there became a mainstay of "Dell Publishing" in penciling stories like "Indian Chief", "Sergeant Preston of the Yukon", "Tonto", "Cisco Kid", "Turok" and "Gunsmoke".

During the 1960's he returned to Italy where he continued to collaborate with several American publishing compagnies and where he established the "Giolitti Studios".

Hé died in Rome in 1993.
