Mundo de Aventuras

Mundo de Aventuras (serie 1) was the initial and successful comic magazine published in Portugal by Aguiar & Dias, Lda under the name of Mundo de Aventuras.

History

This first of the two distinct series of Mundo de Aventuras had been released from August 1949 to September 1973 for a prolific run of 1252 weekly issues. Each issue featured several comics characters with stories that readers could follow from week to week. Between 1950 and 1973, Mandrake the Magician appears in 313 issues for a total of 16 different stories.
