"The Bug Man" is the 157th Mandrake daily story. The story was written by Lee Falk and drawn by Fred Fredericks.
Plot Summary
Two years ago mr. Tcesni offer a cheap new secret wepond to the army, giant bugs. He wanted a million so he could continue his research, but the army thought he was mad and threw him out of their offices.
He went into partnership with Rocky. First he sent in his giant bees, then Rocky's mob went in and robbed what they found. But mr. Tcesni was not a thief. So when a dictator with ambitious ideas offered to support his research he went to the tiny nation.
Mandrake was asked to bring mr. Tcesni back to US in 'mission pesticide'.

- Mystery: in strip of April 9 Lothar stay at Xanadu while Mandrake and Narda visit the crime scene. Then suddenly in strip of April 20 Lothar have replaced Narda!
- The Daily Planet is a fictional broadsheet newspaper in the DC Comics Universe, appearing mostly in the stories of Superman.
