The "Mistero" series came out in total 101 issues devided into three series:
L'Italo Americano Illustrato / Mistero
- Issues 1 (December 8, 1946) to 28 (June 15, 1947).
The "Mistero" series started with the newspaper sized "L'Italo Americano Illustrato" December 8, 1946. In the beginning the weekly magazine was bilingual, with Italian and English language. From #17 (March 30, 1947) the magazine changed name to "Mistero" - settimanale italiano-americano di racconti illustrati. It printed various US and Italian series as: "And so They Were... Never Married)" by Cliff Sterrett (14-16), "Belles and Wedding Bells and then Were Maried" by Cliff Sterrett (13-16), "Captain Easy" by Walter Scott (22-24), "Difendi l'amor mio" by Maria Laura Segrè & Nicolò (1-19), "Dr Wobes" by Elliot Caplin & J N McArdie (7-20, 24-28), "Il distintissmo signore di Lino" by ? (17), "It Always Happens So" by Jimmy Hatlo (1-16, 20-22), "Johnny Hazard" by Frank Robbins (1-27), "La voce del mare" by Felisari and Galle|pini (17-22), "Lone Ranger" by Fran Striker & Charles Flanders (1-6), "Polly and her Pals" by Cliff Sterrett (1-8), "The Glamour Girls" by Don Flowers (1-4) and "Tillie the Toiler" by Russ Westover (1-13, 17-19, 21-22). Issues 29 to 47 printed various US and Italian series as: "The Phantom" by Guido Fantoni (29-34, 38-40, 44-46), "Mandrake" by Phil Davis (35-37, 47), "Tim Tyler's Luck" by Lyman Young (41-43), "Inspector Wade" by Lyman Anderson (29-36), "I banditi di Green-Rock" by F Vichi (37-41) and "Johnny Hazard" by Frank Robbins (42-47).

The "Nuovo serie - Mistero" was re-printed by Nerbini in about 1978.
