Mundo de Aventuras was a successful comic magazine published in Portugal by Aguiar & Dias, Lda which was running on two successive series from 1949 to 1986.

Mundo de Aventuras
The first of the two distinct series of Mundo de Aventuras had been released from August 1949 to September 1973 for a prolific run of 1252 weekly issues. Each issue featured several comics characters with stories that readers could follow from week to week. This series was directed by Mário de Aguiar e José de Oliveira Cosme.
Between 1950 and 1973, Mandrake the Magician appears in 313 issues for a total of 16 different stories.
Mundo de Aventuras (second series)
Under a more modern look, a second Mundo de Aventuras series was released by Aguiar & Dias, Lda) from October 1973 to January 1987 with a run of 589 issues featuring at least one complete story for one specific comics character in each issue, completed by following parts for other comics. This series was directed by Vitoriano Rosa e António Verde.
