Plot summary
Mandrake, Narda and Lothar are on their way home aboard a train across the far west.
They come into contact with James Craine who is on his way to his grandparents' ranch, where he and his family intend to settle down. Suddenly three cowboys appear and accuse Mr Craine of stealing a sack of gold from Mc Nutts. The cowboys take Craine with them and ride towards Mc Nutt's ranch.
