King Comics was published by David McKay Publications from 1936 to 1952. It was a compilation of newspaper strip reprints such as "Mandrake the Magician", "Brick Bradford", "Popeye", "Henry", "The Lone Ranger", "Blondie", "Prince Valiant" and "The Phantom". King Comics reprinted the Sunday pages of Mandrake.
