"Un mondo scomparso" is an Italian made Mandrake story from 1963. It is a redrawn version of the 3 part Italian story "Fra uomino monstri di un monde scomparso" by Roberto Lemmi. Most of the panels are edited. Mandrake and Lothar are cut out and replaced with new art, looking more like Phil Davis art from the 50s.
- According to the reference book Profumo d'inchiostro, this 1948 Italian-inspired version is written by Giovanni Fiorentini and drawn by Domenico Mirabella only (the latter being also confirmed in Fumetto 115 as the drawing artist).
