Plot summary
While visiting Japan, Mandrake and Lothar meet a friend of theirs. The man has received a strange letter demanding that he break up with his fiancée, Sayori. At her home, a man tries to kidnap her and also to kill Sayori's adoptive father. The attacker is a member of a gang of thugs called "The Golden Circle" who will also attack Mandrake and Lothar. After having successfully fought the sect, they will learn that Sayori was the daughter of the leader of this secret society and that she had been adopted during her childhood in order that she could escape from the grip of the sect.
