Thomas "Tom" Yeates began his career in working at the Joe Kubert's "School of Art" and drew comic books for "DC Comics" in the early 1980's, such as "The Warlord". He revived "Swamp Thing" in 1982 before creating "Timespirits" for "Epic Comics".

Thomas Yeates has also drawn "Conan" and "Tarzan" for Dark Horse. He worked on the "Zorro" newspaper strip and on the "Prince Valiant" Sunday pages in 2012.

He drew several covers of "Comics Revue", one having "Mandrake the Magician" amongst them.
