Iljustrovano chetivo - in Cyrillic characters:"Илюстровано четиво" = "Illustrated Reading" - was a Bulgarian magazine published every thursday before the Second World War, It contained national comics creations as well as American classical comics such as "Flash Gordon", "The Lone Ranger", "[[Mandrake the Magician]" (Cyrillic "Мандрак"), "Tarzan", "Mickey Mouse". The publishing was interrupted in 1943 during the war events which stopped the comic book tradition in Bulgaria for a long time.
