Biography
Shirley Smith was born in Whitewater, Kansas, in 1929. In her teens she entered beauty contests, becomming Miss Butler County in 1947. She attended Kansas State University and becomeing involved in theater. After graduating in 1915 she worked in radio and started her modeling career by modeling in advertisements for Kansas City’s Helzberg Diamonds.
She moved to New York in 1952 and continued her modeling career ond moved on to acting shows, then roles on television and in a movie as well. Early 60s she gave up her acting, focus toward her art career.
