Issue overview
Serieförlaget released the first issue of the "Serietidningen Tarzan" series on September 26, 1951. The magazine was released every other Wednesday until December 29, 1954. A total of 85 issues were released, with the issue 16-17/1953 as a double issue. From issue 21/1952 the magazine dropped the prefix Serietidningen (The comic book) on the cover and the magazin title became "Tarzan".
- In 1955 the magazine changed name to Stjärnmagasinet.
