ΒΕΛΟΣ was a weekly magazine published by the Greek publisher Τερζοπουλος.
History
Βελος (meaning "Arrow") was released for a 90 issues run from July 2, 1968 to April 14, 1970 and featured - amongst other comics - classical characters such as: Flash Gordon (Φλας Γκορντον) by Dan Barry, TinTin (ΤενΤεν) by Hergé, Tim Tyler's Luck (Τιμ Ταϋλερ) by Lyman Young, Φαντασμα by Lee Falk and Sy Barry, Mandrake (Μαντρέϊκ Ο Μάγος) by Lee Falk and Phil Davis.
At the end, the weekly magazine became fortnightly. The first 57 issues meassure 19x25 cm and issues 58-90 only 12x19 cm. The first magazine had 36 pages, then 44, 52, 44, 68 and finally 100 pags. The pages were printed in color as well as in black and white.
