El País

El País (= "The Country") - commonly named "El Pais de Cali" - is a Colombian regional daily newspaper based in Cali (also called Santiago de Cali), capital of the "Valle del Cauca" department.

"Mandrake the Magician" both Daily stories and Sunday stories were published in "El Pais" in the 70's (at least).

For its weekly comics supplement of 12 pages, published in color on Sundays, with a size of 29,5 x 38,5 cm., with classics comics such as: "El Fantasma ("The Phantom)", "Maldades de dos pilluelos" ("The Katzenjammer Kids"), "Pepita" ("Blondie"), "Benitin y Eneas" ("Mutt and Jeff"), "La Gata" ("Krazy Kat"), "Pepita" (Blondie")... were alsso published with "Mandrake the Magician" Sunday strip.
