- Inside one read: "Mandrake", one of the most popular ans widely-read of all adventure strips, has been for ten years a special feature of "The Australian Women's Weekly."
- Mandrake started in "The Australian Women's Weekly" in December 1934. Adding ten years this issue is from December 1944 (or perhaps a few months into 1945 ?).
- The Mandrake story begins with the June 27th, 1941 strip. All the pages are similar to the ones previously published in 1943 in "The Australian Women's Weekly" issues for the same story (same publisher).
