"The Sleeping Beauty" is the 37th Mandrake daily story. The story was written by Lee Falk and drawn by Phil Davis. This story exists in two variants, one made to span four newspaper columns, the other to span five. The five-column variant is cropped in the lower part.
Plot Summary
On a rainy night, one of the tires of the Narda's car suddenly bursts and she takes refuge with a couple who is obviously hiding something in their attic. Informed, Mandrake will investigate on the spot and discover in this house a young blonde girl lying and asleep on a bed. By delivering the sleeping young person and by opposing the abducting couple, he will discover the story of a kidnapping intended to divert a rich maiden's legacy.
