Following the 2024 paperback book Defenders of the Earth (Mad Cave) - reprinting the full 1987 "Star Comics" (an imprint of Marvel Comics) original series -, "Mad Cave" has planned to publish an all new Defenders of the Earth - Comic Books series of 8 issues, directly licensed from "King Features Syndicate" and written by Dan DiDio previously co-publisher of DC Comics.
