Ads inside this issue

Inside this book are small advertisements (one line of text) for other comics published by Hispano Amaricana: "El Hombre Enmascarado", "Amok", "Juan Centella", "Mary Marvel", "Dick Toro", "Pequeno Capitan Marvel", "Capitan Marvel" and also for membership in the club "Capitan Marvel".

The "Mary Marvel" comic book mentioned is the first issue of a serie released by Hispano Americana in 1948. The cover was made by Jack Binder for the Fawcett Publication "Mary Marvel" series, issue 9 from December 1946. The first Hispano Americana issue has an ad for the new "Rip Kirby" series on the back cover. The Spanish edition is not a direct translation of the original edition, e.g. the last story in the Spanish version is the "Mary Marvel Solves the Box Riddle!" which was printed in Fawcett's "Mary Marvel" issue 6.

On Tebeosfera the "Juan Centella" issue is listed as published:

  • "Juan Centella" #120 was released 1-I-1946.

As mentioned for the first "Rip Kirby" issue the publication date given for these comic books at Tebeosfera must be incorrect.
