Mandrake (Tay)

Mandrake was the regular series of Mandrake comic books published by the Turkish publisher Tay Yayınları. A total of 216 issues were released from 1974 to late 1980's. Cover illustrations were by Turkish artists, the most prolific being Aslan Sükür.

History

First series (1974-1979)

The first issue is dated July 8, 1974 and the last (#250) on May 13, 1979. It was a weekly publication. Issues had 34, 44 or 52 pages. The stories have been newspaper strip stories. All issues were collected in albums later, 3 issues per album.
