Popeye Meets the Man Who Hated Laughter is a colored animated one-hour television movie, released on ABC Channel on October 7 1972 and directed by Hal Seeger and Jack Zander.
It united in one story many comic characters of the King Features Syndicate, such as such as "The Phantom", Blondie, Flash Gordon, Prince Valiant, Tim Tyler's Luck and "Mandrake the Magician" - as well as "Popeye" - among several others.
