"Kings Watch" is a 2013 story released in a mini-series of 5 issues.
Plot summary
In ancient time the common anchestors of Earth and Mongo build a portal between the two planets, and only at Mongo they retained the knowledge of how to open the channels. Now Ming the Merciless, Lord of Mongo, planning to conquer the Earth. All over the Earth people seeing strange lights from space and people have nightmares of what's comming.
At Earth The Cobra and his loyal sidekick, Narda, managed to find the two quantum crystals and place them at the gatestone at King's Watch. The gateway between the two planets opened and a global pulse destroyed the Earth's most potent technology. Then the beastmen hordes from Mogo entered the Earth.
Mandrake, Flash Gordon, Lothar and The Phantom join forces to fight against the invading beastmen of Mongo.
