Mandrake Albüm first was a rebound album series of the regular series of Mandrake comic books published by the Turkish publisher Tay Yayınları. A total of 231 issues were released from 1974 to early 1980's.
History
Unsold issues of the weekly Mandrake issues was after a few weeks delay collected into the Mandrake Albüm series. Normaly 3 issues of the weekly series were rebound into one album. The word Haftalık on the covers of the first 81 issues indicate a weekly run of the album series but they are believed to normaly been publicated every third week. The first 81 issues reprintes the weekly issues 1 to 159 and 164 to 250.
When the weekly run of the magazine ceased, the albums continued their run with reprints and occasional brand new adventures of Fred Fredericks, Phil Davis and a few stories from Fratelli Spada artists. The album series ended about 1982 - 1984.
