Vísir (="The Indicator") is an Icelandic newspaper that published Mandrake Sunday strip with the title "Teitur töframaður" (="The Wonderful Wizard") from July 1972 to October 1980.
History
The newspaper was founded in December 1910. On 26 November 1981, "Vísir" and merged with "Dagblaðið", another Icelandic newspaper, to form "Dagblaðið Vísir" An online version remains now available since 1998. According to Gallup, it was the second-most popular website in Iceland as of February 2021.
