Mandrake stories

  • "Tex de Cowboy (fr: Tex le cow-boy)" by Zane Grey.
  • "Tippie" by Edwina.
  • "Breng ze levend terug" by Frank Buck.
  • "Popeye" by Elzie Crisler Segar.

Prose stories

  • "Tarzan", The Moon Maid by Edgar Rice Burroughs (Dutch: "Ter verovering van een onbekend halfrond")
  • "Sherloch Holmes", The Copper Beech by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Note French version

  • For the summer vacation, it seems that the editor wanted to publish one special issue representing three consecutive numbers (57.58.59), as seen on the left top of the cover. However, with just the usual 16 pages format, only two comics ("Mandrake the Magician" and "Ramenez-les vivants!") are featured, offering here material to be released normally in coming separate issues.
  • Concerning "Mandrake the Magician", Sunday pages are the following ones : November 10 (first panel missing), 17 and 24 (first two panels missing), 1935.
