The Gold Token books, of which Action Series comic was only one of several different series of comics and hardbacks published by Young World Publications.
History
The Action Series was introduced in summer of 1964 featuring titles such as Secret Agent X9, Big Ben Bolt, Flash Gordon, Tim Tyler, Mandrake the Magician, Brick Bradford, Justice In The Underworld and Ripcord. These retailed at 1'3 (One shilling and thruppence).
