Consolidated Press Pty. Ltd. launched The Supercomic Series in June 1948. From #69, Shakespeare Head Press Pty. Ltd. – a subsidiary company of the former - became the publisher of this series without any numbering stop.
The whole ran for 134 issues and ended in December 1959. Some of the issues were dedicated to "Mandrake the Magician".
