Hop-là! was published weekly by the French publisher Opera Mundi in 1937 to 1940. It was a compilation of newspaper strip reprints such as "Mandrake the Magician", "Brick Bradford", "Popeye", "Prince Valiant" and others.

The issues from 1 to 52 and 95 to 132 had 8 pages, from 53 to 94 12 pages. The format was 24x34 cm changing from issue 53 to 37,5x27,5 cm.

The page with the Mandrake daily strips was in color.

Issue overview

Album issues

Unsold magazines was rebound into 5 albums:

  • Album (## 1-26)
  • Album (## 27-52)
  • Album (## 53-78)
  • Album (## 79-104)
  • Album (## 105-??)

It seems that it was two (or more) variants of the covers in the albus series. One with Mandrake cover.
