The Sunday American was a weekly newspaper based in Panama (Republic of Panama), published every Sundays in English. It was initially aimed at serving the North American colony in the Canal Zone.
Despite its diffrent title, this newspaper was in fact the Sunday version of the daily newspaper Panama American newspaper.
The Sunday strip of "Mandrake the Magician" was published in "The Sunday Americana" at least between January 1956 and October 1958, more precise dates about the exact publishing run remain to be determined.
