Issue overview
Under the generic title Colección Héroes Modernos three different series were published:
- Série A: 75 issues devoted to "El Hombre Enmascarado (The Phantom)",
- Série B: 75 issues devoted to "Flash Gordon" and
- Série C: 75 issues dedicated to various King Features Syndicate comic characters.
Série C
In the 75 issues of this weekly series one find:

Issue with Mandrake
It should be noted that with issues Colección Héroes Modernos - Serie A #37 the three series started to print various characters on the inner covers and the back cover. The back covers were printed in color and have a continued story following the A, B and C issues. A Mandrake Sunday story was published on the back covers beginning in Serie C #56 and ending in Serie B #66, a commercial way to get readers in buying each issues from the three different series if they wanted read the full Sunday pages story.

Biblioteca Eterna
Biblioteca Eterna was a reprint series published in 1970. The series following the A, B and C series, and collected the 75 issues from the original series into 15 (x3) albums.
