"Il falchi degli abissi" is an Italian made Mandrake story from 1964. It is made as a collage where the characters are taken from various sources.
Plot summary
The submarine base of Southampton (England) receives a message from the naval district of New York: the Lieutenant Wilson must embark urgently on the ship "Donovan" which will leave for San Francisco. As soon as he left by plane, however, he received threats aimed at making him abandon his mission. Mandrake and Lothar are also in this plane when the pilot tries to hijack his device. After a plane fall near Winnipeg, they finally arrive in New York where the shipowner of the "Donavan" invites them aboard his yacht to go to the place where some of his ships were scuttled by neo-Nazis. On the spot, an attack blew up the yacht. Having managed to swim to an island, Mandrake discovers a message from the missing crews claiming to have been kidnapped by the saboteur submarine. Save by the American fleet, Mandrake will enter the saboteurs' island refuge and his action - as well as a military intervention - will allow to deliver the crews prisoners with the help of Lothar and Lieutenant Wilson who had also been detained by the evil band.
