Issues overview
Consolidated Press Pty. Ltd. launched The Supercomic Series in June 1948. The title of series changed to Supercomic Series, first time on the cover of #5 and permanent from issue 7. Shakespeare Head Press became the publisher from #69 before the series ended with issue 134 in December 1959.
The series printed various adventure characters like: "Joe Palooka", "Mandrake" by Lee Falk and Phil Davis, "Speed Gordon (Flash Gordon)" by Alex Raymond, "Wanda" by Kathleen O'Brien. The series also printed various Western and War stories in addition to various "Funny Animals" like "Bugs Bunny", "Woody Woodpecker", "Andy Panda", "Porky Pig" and on.
