"The haunted tree" is a cut and past story. Mandrake, Narda, Lothar and the Police Chief are lifted from Phil Davis art. One villain is lifted from Dell's Four Color #1024 "Darby O'Gill and the Little People" adapted by Alex Toth from the 1959 Walt Disney film "Darby O'Gill and the Little People.
