On the final page of the issue [[Coleccion Heroes Modernos 75 - Série C|''Colección Héroes Modernos - Series C'' #75C]] announced that this was the final publication of the series to be replaced by a new series titled Novelas Gráficas (Graphic Novels). When the first issue was to find in the shops the title was '''Publicación Gráfica para Adultos''' with the subtitle '''Héroes Modernos'''. In issue 75C of '''Colección Héroes Modernos''' Mandrake are named "''Mandraque el mago''".
The "Héroes Modernos" series replaced the "[[Colección Héroes Modernos - Série C|Colección Héroes Modernos]]" A, B and C series. The series alternating with: "El hombre enmascarado ''([[The Phantom]])''", "Flash Gordon", "Rip Kirby", "Ben Bolt", '''Mandrake el mago''', "Jorge y Fernando ''(Tim Tyler and Spud)''", "Brick Bradford", "Juan el intrepido ''(Johnny Hazzard)'', "Agente secreto X-9 del F.B.I. ''(Secret Agent X-9)'', and "Principe Valiente ''(Prince Valiant)''.


This series would rotate the adventures of various King Features characters, leading off with with "[[The Phantom|El Hombre Enmascarado]]". The rest of the series alternating with The Phantom, Flash Gordon, Rip Kirby, Ben Bolt, '''Mandrake the Magician''', Tim Tyler Luck, Brick Bradford, Johnny Hazzard, Secret Agent X-9, and Prince Valiant.
