"City of Jewels" Pt.2: "The Ice Demons" is the 39th Mandrake Sunday story. The story was written by Lee Falk and drawn by Phil Davis.
Plot Summary
On the ice field Mandrake and Narda find a fainting girl tide to a stake nearby a hole in the ice. In the hut of her father they hear of the ice-demons, living beneath the ice. Each day the villagers leave food offering at the ice-holes, and once a year a girl.
