Walmir Amaral de Oliveira (sometimes named just Walmir Amaral) is a Brazilian artist who drew many covers for the Rio Gráfica Editora (RGE) between 1960 and 1980.
As a precocious artist, he starts professionally at the age of 17 years at the RGE publishing house. The main part of his work was for The Phantom covers (around 150 covers...) but also for Mandrake the Magician (around 120 covers).
