"L' isola delle forme perfette" is an Italian made Mandrake story from 1964.
Plot summary
Narda received a telegram from her brother asking her to board the Hellcat ship. When crossing the ocean, Mandrake and Narda see clouds with strange shapes and a giant head under the water. As a hurricane is occuring, the boat is wrecked. Mandrake, Narda and Lothar find shelter on an island inhabited by individuals with cubic heads. They enter a building where a talking cube welcomes them and claims that Narda will be its bride. From the cube, suddenly appears a character dressed as a Roman emperor who claims to want to conquer the world. By his hypnotic powers, Mandrake tries to oppose him by making appear Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar and Napoleon, all more glorious than this pretentious man. However, the latter retains prisoners Mandrake and Lothar and threatens to unleash a terrible storm on the boat in which the Narda's brother is coming. Fortunaly Mandrake discover the power station by which are triggering the storms and finally he fights "the emperor of the cubic men" with success.
