"Mountain of Mystery" is the 243th Mandrake daily story. The story was written and drawn by Fred Fredericks.

Plot Summary

Jeanette, a diamond thief, have heard the legend that beneath the College of Magic there is a vast diamond mine. She showed up as Jan, a college of Magic wannabe, and when the big boulder opened her gang rushed in and knocked out everybody with sleeping gaz. Theron was slug down, and came to himself again with amnesia, harmless and out of his head. Under guard the diamond thief gang put the CM people to work, cleaning out the mine.

Colonel Kar called Mandrake, telling something strange has happened at the CM and that it might be best if Mandrake came and see for himself.
