Behind the scenes

Easter Eggs

The book title: Confucio Massim(o), something to do with Massimo Liorni. The posters with the text Boys & Girls - Your Milk, Wallace Inc. IT Comics, Swat Tour - T Win gt car set by Ma** is a kind of internal humor. It is interesting that the Swat Tour poster is pasted over another poster with a picture of a woman. The man in the panel and his shadow point to a crack in this poster, and this crack is drawn as a hand pointing at the woman. The text on this poster is incomplete: OL* GILY.

The artist

The style of this story is similar to other stories made by Senio Pratesi. The secondary figures are drawn with proportions that are more realistic, but still with some exaggeration, especially when it comes to facial expressions and posture. The women often have slanted large and expressive eyes with large marked eyelashes.

What stands out in this story is the use of Easter Eggs and a focus on a Citroën DS car. This is not something you see in Pratesi's stories about the Phantom.
